Condition is part of the unit, not an add-on
Appliance Vision tracks every unit as new, new open box, or scratch & dent, with live counts by type and condition. You can see what is on the floor and what it cost you, without collapsing S&D into a generic “used” bucket.
That is how blended dealers actually stock and sell — a new refrigerator next to an open-box dryer next to a scratch-and-dent range, each with its own serial and its own condition.
Why side-by-side matters at sale time
When a customer picks a unit, the condition travels with it. The description is already filled in from inventory. You set the price. Finish at the desktop — no retype.
Returns and write-offs stay honest too: a unit coming back or written off keeps its condition, so the floor count and the P&L do not treat a scratch-and-dent piece like a new one.
